Easter all over, im heading north with my family (yeah im going with my parents too). I present to you the madman auf dm2, have a fun read!

Hei Dennis!

Tjena Gubenstruds

What mousepads/mouses have you own, and which were the best?

Around 1998 I had a Logitech Mouseman Wheel, I think that was the best mouse I have ever had. I used the same mouse 3 years, it felt perfect in the hand and always performed at its best! At that time I used some cheap mousepad notning special, nowdays I have a Logitech MX518 and a Icemat, im very satisfied with it.

DM2, why is it the best map?

Heh, hard to say, me and my old friend Babel alway’s played dm2 in 1on1/2on2 because none of us could shaft any good. High ping might be a reason why dm2 was chosen. But overall I think dm2 is a very good 1on1 map because of the diffrent style’s you can use on the map. Griffin has proven that dm2 is not only CS, he has won all the best with a very agressive technique, and Seese has proven that less agressive technique can also work good. For me it’s all about speed, still having control and do amazing thing’s whith as much speed as possible, that’s quake for me. It’s a style that still can be developed in a fun way. And DM2 allow’s one to be fast and have total contol of the map.

In ownage you won a few matches and went down 2 in a row first sudo then valla, did it go as expected?

I signed up with high expectation’s, but motivation ran out more and more during the tour. I have lots of thing’s on my mind these days, and quake is not a high priority. I have a car *host* that need to be finishe’d REALLY soon, and other thing’s that need’s to be done every day. I did play daily when I was still in the tour but it’s hard to give it a chanse when your’e mind is elsewhere. Seese is a worthy opponent to get kicked out the tour for, so are Valla. If things went as I expected? Had no expectations, I know what I can do with a mouse and a keyboard, thats good enough for me.

You have played this game for a couple of years, does the skill stack up? Do you ever think, man I was so good in 98?

I think every guy/girl have days when you feel like you are just stomping grass, nothing happens, but of course youre skill improves, perhaps not physicaly, but mentaly. Me myself have my periods when I feel unbeatable, my shaft is like a aimbot, almost feels like it, you enter a room FULL with confidence about you beating the shit out of the guy even tho you know that he prolly has more armour and health than you but you totaly rely on your superb dayshape. Quake is very fun those days. Sure I can say, 2-4 months ago or even more I might be abit sharper than I am today, but thats just in my head. Its all in your head.

Have you read or watched any king of kenya, what is your opinion about it?

Uh, i’m not much of a kenya player. Call me old-fashioned but I prefer good’ol tb3:) I do think its good for the scene with new maps because of the new player’s that recenlty have joined us. I can imagine that its really hard for newcomers to keep motivation up when you get smacked down hard daily buy “oldies”, thats why those “kenyas” (aero ztndm3) is good. I like those maps, but dont have time to really know them like I know dm2 dm4 dm6.

How do you feel when you come up with new paths new trick or something similar, is it still possible to do something new in tb5?

I know it’s possible, all that hold’s you back is youre type of play, no bunny, no funny:/ I find new trix weekly but then you have to consider if its worth do ingame. I think thats why I still play this game, the neverending exploration of the quakerworld dinasty! I havn’t tried so many trix on Aero Ztn, but im sure Aero has alot to offer in that matter.

What do you hate and love the most with the community and the game of Quake?

I love all the old quakers that still plays this game, still have the motivation and dedication to keep the game alive. Sometimes I sit back and think about this whole madness, 10 FUCKING YEARS????? if I had studied math or something instead I would be a fucking professor by now, but I didnt, and im glad for that, math is so fucking boring:) and I have met friends for life though this community and I have had days that I will never forget. Thank You QuakeWorld.

There is three players left in ownage (mutilator, gamer and xalibur) who will win?

Three players with LOTS of experience and willing to take the first spot. I cheer for Xalibur, but he is to much like me, in a way that will not be in he’s favour in this tour. (that was a compliment) Muti, Gamer in final, hard one. Muti has shown in earlier tours what he is made of, but I have heard that he has not been so active latly and that will be hes defeat. Gamer is to experienced to let this fall out of his hands. Gamer will take this home.

What message would you like to spread to the young fragile Quakers out there?

Not much to say, you all are doing a jolly good job to keep the scene alive. A loss is not everything, try to have fun when you enter the world of Quake!

Want to speak your mind? Go ahead!

Fuck you.

Thanks lockepojk! Untill next time

new tricks are not hard to find
but new tricks that are usefull during a match are hard to find.

but that is what i love in quakeworld. you can jump everywhere you want :)

so thats because i get killed so much, because i make so much useless jumps in matches :p

Locky is clearly breaking down and contradicting himself during the grueling interrogation process.
