NQR to announce shocking news for Season 11?
Just recently NQR strengthened their admin crew by the addition of 
Molgrum who is pretty well known for running the custom map tournaments ”Free Thursday Kenya” and ”King of Tuesday Kenya”. With Molgrum aboard, people are starting to ask themselves whether or not this will also influence the map pool. Anyone who has followed the qw scene in the last year knows that the guy is a big fan of trying new maps - also for 4on4! Luckily the NQR crew consists of some oldschool players as well and we of course expect them to save the day, but what if they are fed up with the old maps too? However everyone in the QuakeWorld community knows that removing TB3 from the maplist would most likely result in a complete flop.
But if NQR is willing to try new maps it is very likely that they are going to say goodbye to the old kenya brothers, CMT3 and CMT4 which were used in only few divisions during last couple of years. Way back in the days all divisions were forced to use the same map pool, which made the games a bit more interesting because worse clans were able to take points from the better clans. Since we are talking about the QuakeWorld community this of course gave birth to some lame sayings like ”kenya only clan” and other pathetic excuses for losing, such as:

However there is still plenty of time to go before season 11 starts and during that time we, the community, can speak our mouths empty and try to make an effect. So what would you think of playing new maps along with TB3? Could it be interesting to see Fragomatic vs The Viper Squad on a map you have never seen or heard of?
