Quakecon 2007

Hey all you American QW players, when’s the last time you attended a LAN party with a bunch of QW players?

A long time I bet.

This year’s Quakecon in Dallas, Texas will have a relatively large amount of QW players in attendance.

The event is free, so the only thing you have to pay for is room and board. This shouldn’t be too much of a problem either though, because many attendees are sharing rooms and living off fast food. It runs from August 2nd to August 5th. The current attendees is as follows:

ultimo, aardappel, eyecool, KovaaK, Traxler, myth, proz, r4, FienD, vamp1re, catalysque, plazmaz, mael, vise, nov, and myself. (Whoa, that’s a lot!)
brute- has also hinted that he’s very interested in going. He plans to bring goont- and Irashoran as well.

Yes, there will be tons of QW action at QCon’07, but we also plan on playing a plethora of other games like Street Fighter, Capcom vs SNK, Marvel vs Capcom, Starcraft, Age of Mythology, Serious Sam, Mario Tennis, Warioware, and Super Smash Brothers Melee (oops, sorry KvK!).
