Lasts years QuakeWorld tournament at DreamHack was a success for both our beloved scene and the ‘cs’ crowd spectating our lovely old game. So far so good. This year we get enough interest to host another one, wow! What a joyride.
Here is where the fun stops and where the usual problems with getting lazy quakers from their ass, and getting them to actually do something, arise. Argh.
QW and Q2 will be canceled unless more players sign up!

While one season is coming to it’s end we have a new competition starting already with EQL7 kicking off any day now!
Despite the regular whine from clans that claim to be misplaced NQR11 turned out to be a great success. First congratulations go to the Viper Squad who were favorites from day one and lived up to that role without any trouble. Bps caught up with one of today’s NQR Gold finalists, blAze for a short interview. The questions are obviously about the tonight’s final match, KOFF, NQR and EQL. Without further ado read this and hopefully you will get yourself even more bumped up for the game of the season.
Hello blAze! How do you feel today?
Hello. All good, just waiting to play the final at last. :)
Nice, yes tonight is a special night - it’s the Gold Cup Final versus the KOFF! How does this make you feel? Sitting at work, playing through dm3 in your head? Are you nervous, anxious?
Was too busy with work to give it a much thought yet. I’m quite comfortable about the game, I guess we could have pracced a little bit more, but even the stats are on our side. I’m not sure if we have ever lost an official game to KOFF.

A secret source has revealed to us that the European Quake League might be planning to launch a new season. Most of us probably don’t have good memories of the last season of EQL as the whole season and playoffs were quite poorly organised; not to mention the league coverage. However, it seems that new breezes are blowing in the crew as the crew is no longer dictated by Sassa, who has apparently stepped down from the Head admin position just to help when needed.
