Now that we got that cleared up, what do you spend your 24/hours a day on. Work, school or something else?

I just came back from a 4-month qw-break, traveling Australia, Thailand and China, so right now im doing some temporary work for the summer. In September im moving to Stockholm to study journalism and play with 13ms.

“Quakeworld is dead.”

Is it?

I’ve heard “Quakeworld is dead” multiple times a year since I started QW back in Feb. of 2002. Every time players return to QW after a few months of being MIA, it’s almost unheard of NOT to hear them say “People still play this shit?” as if their lives were so much more active and they’ve grown too “mature” or “cool” to play QW anymore. “LOL, I’ve gone on to play CPM, WoW, professional poker, working a shitty job, saving the world, and/or <insert other lame excuse here>”.

I played 15 rounds of 2vs2 last night, so really, is it dead?

Due to the fact that we want to become more active on the writing scene, we are now searching for one or two new persons to join our crew! If you have read some of our articles, you may have noticed that our writings differ from the usual “e-sport news” quite a lot.

If you are interested in sharing your opinion on tough topics, interviewing people or just like to cause some drama, this might be job of your dreams! Although you don’t get paid.

Tomorrow (28th) the Goldrush beta will end.

I must say that it has been a success with over 140 registered users and almost 1000 bets since the opening a month ago. I have recieved a lot of positive comments on both functionality/idea and the website.
